In June 2008, Midwest Diving Specialists and WildCountry of Normal, IL put together a trip to Costa Rica. This band of folks from all over the US landed at Liberia CR, spent a few days at Ocotol then, along with their top notch guides, made their way to Arenal volcano, La Paz and finally to San Jose to, unfortunately, come home. Along the way there was diving, horseback riding, canopy tours, rappelling, soaking in the hot springs and some "traditional Costa Rican" meals. Oh...and a fair amount of fun too! Due to weather, the lava races had to be canceled.
